Where the two products differ

Who it's built for

Zikit

Any team watching vendor pages: competitor pricing, API changelogs, legal/ToS, job boards, docs. Self-serve flat pricing.

Fluxguard

Enterprise-leaning, with a strong compliance-monitoring narrative (FDA, pharma, regulatory). Often quote-based pricing for meaningful volume.

What the alert looks like

Zikit

A plain-English paragraph from an LLM: what changed, why it might matter, importance 1-10.

Fluxguard

Text or visual diff, with optional redlined PDF / Word export for compliance audit trails.

Geo-location checks

Zikit

Single-origin checks. We fetch from one region.

Fluxguard

Multi-region checks (US / EU / Asia) so you can catch geo-targeted content changes. Genuinely useful for compliance / localisation work.

Setup time to first monitor

Zikit

~30 seconds. Paste URL + pick frequency. Free plan covers 3 sites.

Fluxguard

Longer - configure profile, authentication (if any), scheduling, scope. Free trial exists but isn't the default onboarding.

Free plan

Zikit

3 sites with unlimited pages each, daily cloud checks, AI summaries, email alerts. No credit card.

Fluxguard

14-day free trial on paid tiers; no permanent free plan for production use.

Pricing model

Zikit

Flat monthly tiers by number of sites. Pro $19/mo (20 sites). Business $49/mo (100 sites). No sales call.

Fluxguard

Tiered with quotas per check / per feature. Meaningful volume often lands on a custom quote.

When Fluxguard is the better pick

Honest answer - often it is. Pick Fluxguard if:

  • You need geo-location checks (US / EU / Asia) - content shown differently by region.
  • Your workflow is compliance-driven and needs redlined PDF / Word exports with audit trails.
  • You are already on a procurement path that expects a sales call + custom contract.
  • You need enterprise auth (SSO, SAML) on day one for a production rollout.

Zikit optimises for readable AI summaries and self-serve onboarding. Fluxguard optimises for compliance depth.

Frequently asked

Is Fluxguard bad?

Not at all. For compliance teams that need redlined PDF exports, audit trails, and geo-location checks from multiple regions, Fluxguard is purpose-built. Zikit makes a different trade-off: simpler AI-summary output, flat self-serve pricing, and a free plan. Pick the one that matches your actual job.

Can Zikit check from multiple geographies?

Not today. Zikit fetches from a single region. If you need to detect geo-targeted content changes (e.g. pricing that differs by country), stay on Fluxguard or pair Zikit with a lightweight geo-proxy. Tell us if this matters to you - it's on the roadmap but not prioritised yet.

What about compliance / redlined PDF exports?

Zikit exports change history as CSV on the Business plan. We don't render redlined PDFs with audit-trail metadata today. For formal compliance workflows (FDA submissions, pharma audit logs) Fluxguard is the better fit.

Does Zikit support JavaScript-rendered pages?

Yes. Our fetch cascade is HTTP first, then residential proxy, then headless Playwright. About 95% of real-world URLs work through this pipeline, including heavily JS-dependent SaaS product pages.

Is there a free plan?

Yes - 3 sites, unlimited pages per site, daily cloud checks, AI summaries, email alerts. No credit card. Runs as long as you want.

Try the self-serve, AI-summary approach free

3 sites, unlimited pages, daily checks, AI summaries, email alerts. No credit card, no sales call.
