Create a Slack Incoming Webhook

In Slack: Apps → manage → Custom Integrations → Incoming Webhooks → Add to Slack. Pick the channel you want Zikit to post to (we recommend a dedicated #zikit-alerts channel). Slack will generate a webhook URL likehttps://hooks.slack.com/services/T00/B00/.... Copy it.

Paste it into your monitor’s alerts

In your Zikit dashboard, open any monitor’s Alert preferences, click Add alert → Slack, and paste the webhook URL. Set your importance threshold (we default to 5). Save.

Can I route different monitors to different Slack channels?

Yes. Each monitor has its own alert config. Create one webhook per channel, paste the right one per monitor. Common pattern: #pricing-watch, #vendor-status, #compliance-news.

Does Zikit post every little HTML change?

No. Only changes scored at or above your threshold. Typos, testimonial rotations, and cosmetic edits score low and stay in the dashboard.

Can I revoke the integration later?

Yes. Remove the webhook URL from the monitor in Zikit, or delete the Slack webhook from your workspace’s Apps settings. Either stops the flow immediately.
