Alternative comparison
A Wachete alternative -
AI summaries, unlimited pages per site
Wachete is strong on mobile apps and keyword rules. Zikit takes a different angle: AI summaries as the default output, unlimited pages on each monitored site, and an illustrative free-tier design. Pick the one that matches how your team likes to read change.

Where the two products differ
How you decide what matters
Zikit
AI summary + importance 1-10 on every change. Set a threshold (default 4+) and everything else is filtered out automatically.
Wachete
Keyword rules, CSS area selection, and text-diff. You configure the trigger; the tool returns the raw delta.
What the alert looks like
Zikit
A plain-English paragraph: 'Pro plan went from $29 to $39, no feature changes.' Same in email / Slack / Telegram / webhook.
Wachete
Text-diff fragment or a screenshot crop, depending on monitor type. You read the delta and decide.
Free-tier design (closed)
Zikit
3 sites with UNLIMITED pages each, daily cloud checks, AI summaries, email alerts. No credit card.
Wachete
Free tier with a small fixed number of monitors (around 5), daily check cadence. Each page counts against the quota.
Mobile apps
Zikit
Web dashboard is mobile-responsive + PWA-installable. Native iOS is in development. No dedicated Android app.
Wachete
Native iOS + Android apps on the App Store / Play Store. Stronger mobile story today.
Site-count vs monitor-count pricing
Zikit
Pay per site (domain). Unlimited pages on each site under the free + paid tiers.
Wachete
Pay per monitor (URL). More pages on one vendor = more monitors consumed = faster into paid.
Alert channels
Zikit
Email / Slack / Discord / Telegram / webhooks on paid. Chrome extension + PWA notifications on every plan.
Wachete
Email / mobile push / Slack / webhooks. Mobile push via the native apps is a standout.
When Wachete is the better pick
Honest answer - often it is. Pick Wachete if:
- You need native iOS + Android apps today with push notifications (Zikit is PWA-only for now).
- Your workflow is built around keyword rules and CSS-area selection, not AI summaries.
- You're already on Wachete and the existing setup works well - there's no urgent reason to switch.
Zikit optimises for AI-summary output + unlimited-pages-per-site pricing. Wachete optimises for mobile + keyword precision.
Frequently asked
Is Wachete bad?
Not at all. Wachete is a solid, well-established product with strong mobile apps and an established user base. Zikit makes a different trade-off: AI summaries as the core output, unlimited pages per site, an illustrative free-tier design for small production use. Whichever matches your workflow is the right pick.
Does Zikit have native mobile apps?
Not yet. The web dashboard works as a PWA (add-to-home-screen on iOS/Android). Native iOS is in active development via Capacitor, Android will follow. If you need native apps today - with push notifications - Wachete has them.
I already use Wachete's keyword rules. How does Zikit handle that?
You can still set keywords on Zikit monitors - they override importance thresholds (a keyword match always alerts). But for most use cases the default AI + importance threshold catches meaningful changes without any keyword tuning.
Can I monitor many pages on one vendor?
Yes, cheaply. Zikit counts by site (domain), not by URL. Pointing Zikit at 30 pages on competitor.com uses 1 of your 3 free site slots. On per-monitor pricing tools, 30 pages = 30 monitors.
Is there a free plan?
The archived design included an illustrative free tier. Public registration and monitoring are closed, so no plan can be activated. Contact support@zikit.ai to discuss access.
